Pauline, as she was known by, was born in Liggett, Kentucky on March 12, 1935 to Robert P. and Grace V. Graves. She moved to Illinois shortly after marrying Carl E. Meeks on June 28, 1958. Pauline and Carl then moved to Melbourne, Florida in November 1988. She and Carl were married just shy of 49 years when he passed in April 2007. Pauline was an avid bowler, having bowled for over 50 years. She loved playing Bunco and Bingo. She was a member of a Red Hats group and loved her weekly lunches with her friends. She was great at ceramics and loved doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Meeks, brother Dale (Mary Lou) Graves, sister in law Ellen Graves, Grandchildren Matthew (Therese) Dyke, Jamie Dyke, Morgan Dyke, great-grandchildren Max and Liam, and many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Graves, Husband Carl Meeks, Sisters Frankie (Robert) Eller, Elizabeth (Gene) Crawford, Brothers Robert (Jean) Graves, Sam Graves, James Graves, Clyde (Mary) Graves, Wilford Graves, Charles (Nancy) Graves.
Friends and family will be welcomed at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Visitation, 10:00 am followed by a short service at 11:00 am. A celebration of life will follow at a location to be determined.
