He was born in Springfield, MA on December 16, 1960. Alan retired from the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1998 after 20 years of service to his country. He continued to serve another 18 years as a civilian defense contractor in aircraft maintenance.
Alan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend; he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring classic "muscle cars" and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lori; his daughters, Cynthia (Michael), Jennifer and Tara; six grandchildren; his brother, Bobby Nowak; his sister, Cathy Nowak, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Visitation held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Hwy 1, Mims, FL 32754.
