Scott F. "Lovie" Lovicott, 53, of Beaver Dam, WI, passed away suddenly, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Aurora Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Scott was born December 30, 1969 in Stoughton, WI, the son of Gerald and Shirley (Willette) Lovicott. He worked as a taxi driver most of his life for S and R Taxi for 25 years. Scott was an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badgers fan. He was an avid fan of stock car and midget racing and attended races every Saturday. He was a very involved uncle and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Scott had a stroke that confined him to a wheelchair for the last couple of years of his life.
Scott is loved and missed by one brother, Terry (Jackie Pressel) Heller; seven sisters, Martha (Richard Cramer) Olson, Chris (Luis) Mendez, Linda (Bruce) Steinbach, Shelly Quintana, Wanda Lovicott, Deborah (Tony Koepke) Blasing and Rebecca Lovicott; sister-in-law, Diane Lovicott; god-children, Jacob Lovicott and Maria Groth; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Shirley, three sisters, Bonnie Kay Olson, Arlene Olson and Victoria Flores, two brothers, Larry Lovicott and Michael Lovicott, nieces, Lizzy Lovicott and Jocelynne Lovicott and nephew, Justin Olson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2023 at Victory Apostolic Church, N7231 N Crystal Lake Rd, Beaver Dam, WI 53916 with Pastor Jesse Lovicott officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The funeral service will be available through livestream at https://www.facebook.com/AdvantageRockford. Cremation will follow and a burial at Windsor Congregational Cemetery will take place at a later date.
