Ruth Marie Gilbertson, 79, of Rockford passed away in her home on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
She was born in Rockford on January 7, 1940. On November 28, 1959 she married Roger G Gilbertson.
Ruth was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother whose kind heart and sweet soul touched the lives of everyone she met in a positive way. She possessed the faith of a child and unparalleled wisdom and compassion. Her Love of God and Family were evident in every conversation. Ruth will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children; son, Daniel Gilbertson of Rockford, Daughter, Victoria (James) Brown of Rochelle; granddaughters, Jessica (Jake) Thomas of Minocqua, WI and Brittany Brown U.S.A.F. stationed in Honolulu, HI.
