Ann had many health challenges in the last 25 years, but somehow found the strength to continue to enjoy life.
An avid Green Bay Packers fan, Ann’s passion was cooking. She enjoyed bowling, playing darts, cards and the slots.
She loved life, her family and friends. Through all of her challenges she kept her sense of humor and would tease us and say that she was still on this earth “because God didn’t want her and the devil was afraid she would take over”.
Survived by her children, Dawn (Cal) Powers, Lisa (Alan) Mera, Kathy (Rod) Zimmerman, Mark (Lisa) Kowalewski; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren with one on the way; her brothers, Jack (Norma) Lucas and Paul Lucas.
Predeceased by her former husband and father of her children, Jerry Kowalewski; her parents and brother, Gary Lucas.
Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, May 27th, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road. Memorials may be given to the American Breast Cancer Society. Online condolences may be submitted at advantagefunerals.com
