Mary E Pfab

Mary Elizabeth Pfab, 56, of Machesney Park, Illinois, peacefully passed into the hands of the Lord at her home with family and friends on August 11, 2017 after a long courageous battle with colon cancer. Mary was born on March 31, 1961 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Katherine Matilda Love Poole and Houston LLoyd Swinney. Mary was married to the love of her life, Dennis J. Pfab on September 26, 2009. Mary's other loves were spending countless hours tending to her gardens, motorcycle rides, attending Nascar races in Alabama and visiting with friends and family.

She is survived by her mother, Katherine; sons, Adam (Chelsea) Pruitt, Nicholas (Jill) Pruitt and Jermiah; daughters, Angela Sambrano and Andrea Swinney; Grandchildren, Damian, Elizabeth, Alex, River, Sammy, Isaac, Eliza; siblings, Lloyd, Jeff, Jerry and Pam.

Memorial Services will be held on August 26, 2017 at 4:00PM at Riverside Community Church, 6816 N. 2nd St., Machesney Park, IL. Per Mary's wishes Cremation Rites were accorded. Burial will be at a later date.
