BELOVED MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, SISTER, AND AUNT. Mary Annetta Hutchinson, 85, died 4/20/21 in Rockford, IL, due to complications from a long illness. Born 3/2/36 in Cave City, AR, to Delzo McLeod and the former Lorraine Hardin. She worked for National Lock and Amerock before marrying James Ozley, father of her 4 children. She raised her son and daughters in CA before Steve died of cancer at age 17. After, she and the girls moved to Rockford to be closer to family. She later married Milton F. Hutchinson, and they spent 20 years together before his passing. She loved gardening, relaxing in her swing, sewing, and listening to country music. She was exceptionally kind and will be missed by all. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Steve; husband, Milt; sister, Alma; and nephew, Joey. Survived by daughters, Debbie Wescott, Lynn Ozley, and Tina Mathiesen; granddaughters, Amanda (Tyler) Russell, and Claire and Natalie Mathiesen; great granddaughter, Addison Peck; great grandson, Grayson Russell; sister, Lela (Maury) Carlson; brothers, Loren (Barb) McLeod and John (LeeAnn) McLeod; former son-in-law, Olev Mathiesen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation at Advantage Funeral Home located at 7000 W. State St, Rockford, IL, on Friday April 23, beginning at 12:30pm and ending promptly at 2:30pm. Private burial at Willwood Burial Park. Celebration of Mary’s life to be held at a later date.
