Marvin Freddric Davis

Marvin Freddric Davis was born on July 3, 1970 to Bertha Davis-Wooding and LN Craft. At the age of 7, Marvin was baptized by DW Heath. In 1989, he graduated from Jefferson High School. After graduation Marvin went on to work proudly at Pizza Hut, Malcom Eaton Enterprises and Anna Page Park. Along with working Marvin loved playing pool, checkers, and ping pong. The Bears, Cubs, Bulls and Lakers were his favorite sports teams and Kobe Bryant, his athlete. Marvin left us all with a heavy heart when he was called to meet the Lord on January 24, 2020.

Marvin was the beloved son of Bertha (Charles) Davis-Wooding and LN Craft; Loving brother of Armond Davis, Bobby Davis, Keith (Francis) Schnieder, Trent Williams-Wooding, the late David Ernest Wilcher, and Sisters Ann Holliman, Stephine Davis, Vernell (Larry) Taylor, Twin Malai (Ronnie) Harris, and Marlena (Tyrence) Williams; Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews; Special friend of Ray Anthony Croom.

A Visitation will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10am until the time of Service at 11am at Greater Great New Fellowship C.O.G.I.C (2610 S. 5th St, Rockford, IL 61109). Entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens (8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115). Repass to follow Entombment at Macedonia Baptist Church (1720 Morgan St, Rockford, IL 61102). A Special Thank You to Robert Webb Terrace where Marvin was a resident and staff member.
