Linda Spence

Linda White-Spence, 59, of Rockford died unexpectedly on Monday, April 9, 2012 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born June 27, 1952 in Kennett, Mo. to Paul and Bessie (Pitts) Hilderbrand. She married Brian Spence on June10, 2010. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, garage sales, cookouts and family get togethers, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Brian Spence, children; Dale (Kelley) White, Tammy (Roger) Gowin, Virginia Walsh, Becky DiDomenico, Joseph (Melissa) Schutt, Samantha Anderson, Jasmine Spence, Alan Spence, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, mother Bessie Noe, brother Joe Hilderbrand, sisters; Sue (Ben) Rogers, Lori Antczak and Pat Thompson. She is preceded in death by her father.

Funeral service will be at 10 am on Mon, April 16 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W. State St. Rockford. Friends may visit from 9:30 am until the time of service. Pastor Ron Haese will officiate. Interment will be in Cedar Bluff Cemetery, Rockford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
