LeRoy E. Lewandowski, 91, of Rockford, IL, passed away on December 28, 2022. LeRoy was born in Rockford, IL on June 8, 1931 to Frank and Mary Lewandowski. LeRoy was a Combat Veteran of the Korean War. He served honorably in the Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
LeRoy is survived by his children, Steve Lewandowski, Paul Lewandowski, Brian (Gina) Ross, and Bobbette (Dale) Lengjak; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lewandowski; children, Amy Anderson and Brad Ross; grandson, Josh Lewandowski.
A Graveside Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:30am on January 6, 2023 at Willwood Burial Park (7000 W. State Street, Rockford, IL 61102). Interment to follow.
