Kay Rasmussen

Kay Rasmussen, 84, of South Beloit IL passed away December 19, 2019. Kay Was a loving mother and enjoyed the years she spent raising her family and being a domestic engineer. She enjoyed lawn care, and was known to mow her friends and neighbors lawns without ever being asked. She showed her love for others, and connected with everyone she would meet and always liked making new friends. Her family, including her dogs were the light of her life. Kay was known to enjoy county fairs, as well as watching her grandson race stock cars.

She is survived by her loving children; Sue Hardman, Virginia (Randy) Rogers, S. Marie Rasmussen, Karen Adkins, Clarence Rasmussen, Phyllis Perry, and Elizabeth Bilderback, her grandchildren; Crystal, Christopher, Paul, James, Mary, Nicholas, Michael, Ashley, Nikki, Roxy, and Scott, as well as her great grandchildren; Brentlee, Zane, Kaitlyn, Leeland, Zailah, Maleigha, Brandon, and Jayci.

She is predeceased by her loving husband; Edward Rasmussen, her infant son; Edward Rasmussen Jr, her sister; Maxine Norris, and her son in laws; Dennis Hardman, Rick Adkins, and Roger Bilderback.

A funeral Service for Kay is scheduled for Friday, December 27 at 2PM at Advantage Funeral home 7000 W. State St. Rockford IL. A visitation will be held at 1PM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Willwood Burial Park.

I heard your voice in the wind today
