Joyce J. Seago, 84, of Rockford, passed away, Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born July 31, 1935 in Stillman Valley, IL, the daughter of LeRoy and Marjorie (Buck) Reed. Joyce married Truman L. Seago, on September 6, 1958, he preceded her in death in 1986. She worked at the Rockford Clinic. Joyce was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockford for many years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and working in her yard.
Joyce is loved and missed by her son, Kenneth A. Seago; step-son, Richard Seago; special nephew, Terry Seago; grandchildren, Joshua (Danielle) Seago, Jennifer Heintzelman, and Justin (Cristina) Seago; great-grandchildren, Blake Heintzelman, Caden Heintzelman, Giana Heintzelman, Evelyn Seago, and Eleanor Seago. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Truman.
A private service will take place. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
