Ida Nietz

Ida Mae Nietz, age 77, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Ida was born in Vandalia, Illinois on October 27, 1945 to Roscoe and Illean Beck. She married the love of her life, Jerry Nietz on May 8, 1961 in Dubuque, Iowa. Ida worked for the Counsler Corportaion and retired from the Testor Corporation.. Ida thoroughly enjoyed cooking, reading, but was the happiest when spending time with her family.

Ida is survived by her sons, Jerry M. Nietz Jr., Douglas (Evelyn) Nietz; daughter, Victoria (Bryan) Holder; grandchildren, Christopher and Bradley Nietz, Jessica Holder, Chance and Cheyenne Nietz; and Bradley Oldham. Great- grandchildren, Nicholas, Wyatt, Rylee Mae, Shelby, Colton, Benjamin; Corbin, Camrin, Braylynn, and Bentley. Special sister Margaret Beck. Predeceased by her husband, parents; and brothers Kenneth Beck, James Beck, and Muriel Beck, and uncle, George Beck.
