Ethel Fisher

Ethel Fisher, 69, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Swedish American Hospital. Ethel was born to Lillian (Henderson) and Jim Redd on March 27, 1950 in Leland, Mississippi. Ethel attended West High School in Rockford, Illinois. Ethel married the love of her life Ralph Fisher on July 17, 1971 in Janesville, Wisconsin. Ethel was a devoted member of Providence Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois. Ethel is survived by her husband Ralph of 48 years; siblings, Ora Sanders, Doris Redd; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends. Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Jim; siblings Elizabeth (Liz) Gray, Dawn (Donna) Redd-Taylor, Jessie Henderson and Jimmy Redd.

A public visitation for Ethel will take place on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Providence Baptist Church on 2209 Clifton Avenue, Rockford, Illinois 61102 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Due to the COVOID-19, a private family service will take place. A private burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A memorial service for Ethel will take place at a later date.
