Donald Edward Peterson, 65, of Rockford, passed away on November 23, 2023. Donald was born in Freeport to Donald G. Peterson and Anne Totenhagen on October 31, 1958. He is survived by his mother, Anne Totenhagen-Johnson; children, Michael Peterson, Erik (Stacy) Peterson, and Mindy Reinhold; brothers, Kim (Lori) Peterson, Chris Peterson, Kevin Peterson, and Daniel Peterson; sister, Melissa (Steve) Borisini. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Peterson; sister, Holly Hollar. Services for Donald will take place on Friday, December 7, 2023, with a visitation beginning at 3:00 PM, and a memorial service following at 4:00 PM, at Christ Lutheran Church, 425 E. Riverside Rd., Belvidere, IL 61008. Memorials may be made to Miss Carly’s or Carpenter’s Place.
