He married his first love Judy J.(Taylor) Manley on October 12,1963 and after her passing in 1992, He was lucky enough to find love again when he met Evelyn (Hudson) Manley and they married on November 27, 2000.
As a child he spent time in Boy Scouts where his dad was the leader. During his time at West High School, he found bowling, and enjoyed joining many leagues and tournaments throughout his life with his children and friends.
Don also had a lifelong passion for Racing and spent his time collecting memorabilia, attending races, and even participating at the Rockford Speedway during the 1960’s and 70’s.
He worked as a Tool & Die maker for over 45 years and retired from Rockford Toolcraft in 2007.
He spent his retirement years spending time with his children and grandchildren and also traveling and going on many many cruises.
Don is survived by his Children: Rodrick (Stacy) Manley and Sarah (Larry) Dawson; Brother, Norman Manley; Grandchildren, Andrew Manley, Caitlin (Shawn) Lovelady, Ashley (Robert) Lee, Kira Manley, Shon Thurman and Marcus Thurman; Great-Grandchildren, Isla Williams, Everett, Eastyn, and Emersyn Lee.
Welcomed to heaven by his parents, wives Judy and Evelyn; Brothers, William and Melvin Manley; Sisters, Patricia and Josephine Manley.
