 Our family knew Julie and her family when we first moved here in 1966, lived just down the alley from the Ramsdale family. they were always kind and nice to our family. She and her mother will be missed.                                                                   The Haymon Family

Dayne, I first met your mother when I taught you in second grade.  Such a great mom, a special lady and a good friend. It was always fun at the YWCA swimming pool because of her humor and teasing.

Sending condolences to Julie's family.   I was privileged to work with Julie at St. Anthony's.  She was so caring and compassionate, considerate and hard working.  Her smile just brightened everyone's day.

We met Julie through the Y - she was a very good friend with an unfettered sense of humor, a warm and generous heart and who would always be there when and if needed. Kinda "rough" on the outside she was all soft and warm and loving on the inside. She will always live for those of us who knew and loved her every time we think of her or raise her name in conversation.

Julie has been a close personal friend for years.  We met through our association with the Y in Rock Island.  Funny, warm-hearted and generous to a fault, she was taken in one of the most unexpected and harsh ways we could have imagined. She was surrounded by her close friends from the Y who visited her continuously both in Davenport and Iowa City.  She will be missed, terribly missed, but her smile, sense of humor and giving nature will life on each time we talk of her and laugh at our times with her.

I was very sorry to read of Julie's untimely death. I knew her from the Y pool when my grandson took swimming lessons. She was always pleasant and enjoyed talking about trips.
