He was born August 30, 1947 in New Brighton, PA, son of the late William Thomas and Doris Jane (Eppers) Webster. Bill proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars. He was aboard the USS Reeves and USS Henry B. Wilson. Bill retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of exemplary service. He then worked as a Dispatcher for the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years.
Bill felt blessed to have traveled the world always learning and paying particular attention to the traditions of various cultures. In his early years he earned the award of Eagle Scout and was involved in 4H. Bill loved to cook; and one of his favorite times was gathering family and friends together for a shrimp-boil feast. He was a faithful member of Mayfield Baptist Church where he had served as treasurer.
Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Pamela Sue (Brown) Webster;
Two daughters and a son-in-law: Deanna (James) Healy, Darlington; Kimberly Webster, White Township; two adorable grandchildren: Lauren and William; a sister: Doris Suzanne Kelley, Fallon, NV.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10 to 11 a.m., at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Military Honors will be presented 11 a.m. by the Beaver County Special Unit. A service to remember, honor and celebrate his life, will immediately follow the military honors, with his pastor, The Reverend Dr. Kenneth J. Manypenny, officiating. Interment will be in the Garden of The Last Supper, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
