Ruth M. (Cossin) Rubino, age 97, of Rochester, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Ruth was born February 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late J. Earl and Susannah (Allen) Cossin. Ruth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rochester, she was a school teacher in Ashtabula, Ohio, Ambridge Area School District and for the Freedom Area School District, she also was a member of the Daughters of the Revolutionary War (DAR).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Rubino (2013), one brother, Earl A. Cossin and his wife, Eleanor (Braden) Cossin, a son-in-law, David Summers and a niece, Darlene (Morgan) Cossin.
She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Summers of Naperville, Illinois; three nephews; Jim, John and Ed Cossin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, additional visitation will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 12 noon until the time of funeral services at 2pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Friends may, if they wish, make memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church in Rochester or the Beaver County Humane Society. Her daughter, Suzanne, send a special heartfelt thank you to all of the people that were there for her mother when she needed it most.
