Robert W Unsworth

Robert W. "Unsie" Unsworth, 81, of Rochester, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver. He was born on April 26, 1942 in Punxsutawney to the late William and Olive (Reed) Unsworth.

Robert worked as a drywaller for Superior Drywall for 33 Years. Robert had served in the Army during Vietnam, he was a member of the Baden American Legion Post 641, VFW Post 165 Ambridge, Rochester Turners, he was an avid Steeler and Pirate fan, and enjoyed watching the games with his friends, Robert, enjoyed watching the local children playing baseball, and had his special time fishing with Bridget.

Robert is survived by his children; William A. (Sharon) Cruise of Rochester, Joseph Cruise of New Sewickley Twp., Andrew Young of Lithia Springs, Georgia, Bridget Houk of Rochester, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother; Thomas Unsworth of Baden.

He was preceded in death by his daughter; Christy (Young) Andreasen, sister; Virginia Reed, two brothers; Jack and Gary Unsworth, sister-in-law; Sue Unsworth.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. 273 Rt. 68, Rochester, PA 15074 where a service will be conducted on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Robert will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
