Michael C. McCauley, age 34, of Rochester, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Born June 20, 1988, he was the son of Vicki and Michael Platko. Michael was Catholic in Faith and he was currently working as a Rural Carrier for the United States Postal Service in Beaver. He loved hunting, playing video games, and he will be sadly missed by his furry four legged daughter, Bella.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother; Stephen M. (Jessica) Valent, his grandparents; Norma and Steve P. Valent, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also surviving is his very best friend since childhood; Matt (Jennifer) Bittenbender.
Michael is preceded in death by grandparents; Mary and Raymond Bebout, and Nancy and Joseph Platko, and an uncle, Robert Platko.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10am at Our Lady of Valley Parish, St. Cecilia Church. Arrangements entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
