Linda Faye Leeson, 66, of Raccoon Township, formerly of Monaca, passed on Friday, October 25, 2013 while under the care of the staff at Heritage Valley Health, Beaver. She was born September 21, 1947 in Ward, West Virginia, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Nellie (Estep) Hundley.
Following graduation from Monaca High School, Linda began working at the Beaver County Times. However, it was not long until her ambition led her to employment with the F.B.I. for several years and then with the Census Bureau. Linda concluded her 30 years of employment with the Federal Government retiring from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
In her leisure, she was an avid reader and also loved to tinker in her own craft shop. She enjoyed a variety of music but favored songs from the 50’s and 60’s, along with modern Country. Linda was a Protestant by faith.
Linda is survived by her husband: Clifford; one son and daughter-in-law: Clifford “Chad” and Leslie Leeson, Jr., Stevenson, WA; one daughter and son-in-law: Carissa and Edward Especto, Oakdale, PA; six grandchildren: Brandyn, Samantha, Skyler, Kaitlyn and Hunter Lesson; and Aaron Especto; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Donnie and Mary Ellen Hundley, Monaca; Park and Sue Hundley, Warren, OH; one sister and brother-in-law: Agnes and Ronald Metravich of Rochester; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Additional visitation will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., with her son Pastor Clifford “Chad” Leeson, Jr., officiating.
