He was born on February 2, 1948 in New Sewickley Township to the late Kenneth Lewis, Sr. and Patricia Whittle Fowler. He was a graduate of Freedom Area High School class of 1966, Ken retired after 35 years, from Valvoline Oil in Rochester as a Pipe Fitter and a lead person for the company. Kenneth served our country in the US Army during Vietnam.
He was a member of New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Economy Borough, a member of the Monaca American Legion post 580, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, he was an artist and built his custom picture frames, and he also enjoyed photography.
Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wendy (Smith) Fowler, his three children, Shane E. (Karen) of Eden, Georgia, Kenneth A. (Angel) Fowler of Selma, North Carolina, SallyJo E. (Joseph) Smith of Freedom, seven grandchildren Morgan (Ronnie), Maddie, Mitchell, Noah, Nick, Joseph, Jacob, two great- grandchildren, Nora, Jackson Baker, and two brothers, John Roy (Deb) Fowler, Mark Dennis (Sherry) Fowler, a loving sister-in-law, Wetauna Cypher, and also nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother- in- law, Franklin Clay Smith, mother and father- in- law, Sally and Frank Smith, a niece and nephew Destini Rae, Christopher Fowler, cousin, James Byron and his best friend, Gary Fleeson.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 4: 00PM and 6:00 PM till time of service at7:30PM at the Saul–Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074
