Economy Borough, PA
With heavy hearts and a touch of humor, we bid adieu to the life of the party, Kaye, who began her grand adventure on June 30, 1944, and concluded her earthly escapade 79 years later on January 27, 2024. She was the eldest of three children born to the late Earl and Katherine, and she is now reunited with her beloved husband, James, who beat her to the pearly gates in 2012.
Kaye was a force to be reckoned with, a whirlwind of laughter and love who embraced life with gusto. Her passions knew no bounds, from entertaining and cruising to sewing, camping, and traveling. She was a globetrotter extraordinaire, with a particular fondness for Europe, the islands, Alaska, Hawaii, and a legendary two-month cross-country pilgrimage that saw her conquer almost every state in the union.
In addition to her zest for life, Kaye found solace and joy in her faith as a member of the Rehobeth Evangelical Lutheran Church in Economy, where she shared her infectious spirit with all who knew her.
Kaye leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her son, Keith B., Sr. Her adoring grandkids, Nichole, Cody, Adam, and Keith Jr., along with her great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Logan, and Lydia, will forever cherish her memory. Kaye's spirit lives on in the hearts of her brother, Robert and wife Cheryl, as well as her nephew, Damon and wife Korey, niece, Jaime and husband bill, great niece Olivia, and sister, Sandra, and husband Art, who will continue to spread her joy to future generations.
Kaye Lee's family invites you to join them in a celebration of her life, embodying the exuberance and mirth she was known for. Rather than somber expressions of sorrow, let's gather to share stories, laughter, and the good humor that Kaye brought to every moment.
The remembrance will take place at Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, located at 273 PA-68, Rochester, PA 15074, on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The schedule is as follows:
- Family only viewing: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
- Public Viewing: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
- Funeral Service: 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Continuing Kaye's legacy of connection and community, the family extends an invitation to family and friends to join them after the service at a restaurant in Ambridge, which will be announced at the service. The evening will be a chance to reminisce and celebrate Kaye's remarkable life over good food and in the spirit of the joy she shared with us all.
Please let us know if you'll be attending, so we can plan a party that even Kaylee would be proud of!
In choosing to honor Kaye's memory, the family suggests making a donation in her name in lieu of flowers and gifts. Contributions can be directed to Rehoboth Evangelical Lutheran Church or to a church or charity in her name that you hold dear.
Kaye's boundless love for life and her indomitable spirit will remain an inspiration to us all. As we bid her farewell, we take comfort in knowing that her laughter will resonate forever. Rest in peace, dear Kaye. Your light continues to shine in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
