
June Stanyard-Fidura, 93 of Big Beaver Borough, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 while under the care of the staff at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born June 3, 1923 in Beaver Falls, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Saul) Smith.
June retired from Bell Telephone with 42 years of service as a telephone operator. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneer Club. One of her most enjoyable pastimes was her weekly gathering with friends at the Beaver Falls Subway.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband William Stanyard and her husband Stanley Fidura; her niece: Patty Liberty; three brothers: Harrison, Paul and Perry; and three sisters: Helen Bailey, Jane Shadley and Edna Harris.
June is survived by her nephew: Richard (Diane) Shadley, Chippewa Township; two nieces: Mary Ellen (Richard) Kalinoski, Brighton Township; Sharon (David) Rayl, Clearwater, FL; nephew-in-law: Tom Liberty; great nieces and nephews: Heather Kelly, Richard Shadley, Ryan Shadley, Bruce Kalinoski, Brian Kalinoski, Lois Ann Brummitt, Kelly Rayl-McCormick, Jennifer Artiaga, Brianna Rayl, Lisa Kohlmann and Tom Liberty; great-great nieces and nephews: Anthony, Ireland, Rhyann, Maverick, Dustin, Gage, Richard, Kaedyn, Landon, Raylynn, Michael, Matthew, and Victoria.
