John Loncar, 79, passed away on Wednesday September 27, 2023, surrounded by his family and beloved animals. He was born on February 1, 1944 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Robert, Sr. and Maxine (Silliman) Loncar.
John was a retired steelworker from Crucible Steel in Midland and Pittsburgh Tube Company. He proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam era. John loved all of his grandchildren and attending his five grandsons, sports games and taking photos. He loved all kinds of animals and enjoyed their beauty and feeding them.
John will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his loving children,Tracy (Buzzy) Notarianni of Cranberry Twp. His son, John (Susan) Loncar Jr. of Industry; his five grandsons, Tyler, Toby, Trevor (Alexis) Notarianni , Hunter, Beau Loncar, and a granddaughter, Ashley Selby; brother, George (Alice) Loncar; sisters, Carol Kelley, Judith Powell, Susan (Paul) Thiessen and JoAnn Loncar; numerous nieces and nephews along with special friends, Nancy and Bob Scott and his two furry companions, Sophie and Cairo the cats.
John was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Jr., Clifford and Stanley Loncar and sisters, Marjorie Krull and Deborah Temple.
Donations may be made in honor of John to the Beaver County Humane Society.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074. Private family memorial to follow.
