James Franklin Myers, 75, of Conway passed on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was born December 15, 1943 in Chester, PA, son of the late Benjamin Clyde and Mary Hannah (Faust) Myers. James proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home and began a long career as a crane operator at Pittsburgh Tube with 40 years of service.
James is survived by his loving wife: Helen; two sons and a daughter-in-law: James F. Myers, Jr., State College; Keith (Michelle) Myers, Manheim, PA; one daughter: Sheila Myers, Freedom; five grandchildren: Guinivere, Samantha, Christopher, Scarlett and Keith II; and three great grandchildren; three sisters: Sherry (Paul) Luke, Altoona; Beverly (William) Smith, Freedom; Paula (Gary) Boyd, New Sewickley Township; and extended family.
Friends will be received today, Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Rout 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum) and on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Military Honors will be presented by members of the Beaver County Special Unit at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
