Harold A. Nestor

Harold Alfred Nestor, 74, of Valdosta, GA, formerly of Beaver Falls, known to his friends as "Al" passed away on November 8, 2021 after a long battle with liver cancer. Al severed for 23 years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic serving in Thailand during the Viet Nam Conflict.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Darlene Anna (Vogel) Nestor, two sons; Michael John (Silvia) Nestor of Abilene, TX, Mark Daniel (Annie) Nestor of Williamsburg, VA. seven grandchildren; John, Dan, Angel, Kyle and Henry Nestor, Krista and Luke Zipperer and two great grand-daughters.

Al was preceded in death by his parents; Harold John In January 1986 and Wilma Ruth Park Nestor December 2012, daughter; Trina Lynn Zipperer October 2020, and sister; Margaret Ann DeNardo September 2003.

After retiring from the military Al drove truck for 17 years for Fort Worth Carrier delivering merchandise to the Dillard Stores. His last job was driving school bus for Lawndes County School system for five years.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a lite lunch at noon. Funeral service followed by military honors at 1:00 PM at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc., 273 Rt.68 Rochester, PA 15074. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
