Eleanor "Ellie" Rose Winters

Eleanor 'Ellie' Rose Huffmyer Winters, age 90, of Baden, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Rochester Manor and Villa following a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Ellie was born on June 9, 1933, in Bellevue, she was the daughter of the late Harold (Clark) and Rosa (Anderson) Huffmyer. Ellie had 30 years as a Claims Adjustor for Erie Insurance and in her spare time she enjoyed her family, playing golf, ballroom dancing, and water aerobics at the Beaver County YMCA.

She is survived by her husband William H. Winters; two children; Debbie Giglio of Monaca and David (Julie Jackson) Forsythe of Foxfield, CO. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, a sister, Wilma Bernauer, a brother Lee (Caroline) Huffmyer, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a grandson; Keith Forsythe, a brother; Harold (Linda) Huffmyer, and a brother in law, Ken Bernauer.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 11am, at SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
