Carl McMahon, 54, of Koppel passed unexpectedly on Thursday, March 23, 2017. He was born May 24, 1962 in Rochester, son of the late William T. and Mary (Urda) McMahon. Carl was employed as a welder with the Sippel Company, Ambridge.
Carl was a “man’s man” who enjoyed and lived life to its fullest. He was immensely loyal as a friend and a dedicated family man, as husband, father and grandfather. Carl loved being in the outdoors whether swimming, hunting or riding his Yamaha Road Star motorcycle. In earlier years, when the boys were young, he taught them to ride dirt bikes and quads. He also shared with them his passion for hunting. Carl was a member of the Koppel Sportsmen’s Club.
He is survived by his loving wife: Sandra (Lane) McMahon; three sons and daughters-in-law: Joshua and Jessica Rowland, East Palestine, OH; Lucas and Erin Rowland, Beaver Falls; Andrew Lane and his fiancé Tiffany, Leavittsburg, OH; seven wonderful grandchildren whom he absolutely cherished: Nicholas, Theresa, Joshua, Danielle, Charley, Christina and Lucas, Jr.; one brother and sister-in-law: Scott and Nancy McMahon, Rochester; one sister and brother-in-law: Lisa and Daniel Staistowski, New Brighton; four nephews, three nieces, 1 great nephew and 5 great nieces.
In honor of his wishes, cremation arrangements are by the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC. at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
