Born May 4, 1942 in Sewickley, PA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Leeman and Betty (Jackson) Keefer.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Roy River in 1999.
Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and good friend to all. She had a big heart and will be deeply missed by many. Betty worked at Woolworth, Walmart and was a Beaver County realtor.
Surviving are a daughter Joan (Ron) Heinrich and two sons; Robert Jr. (Vickie) River, Richard (Teri) River. Six grandchildren; Chasity River, Ron Jr. (Jenny) Heinrich, Melinda (Robert) Salters, Kristin Heinrich (Tyler Care), Lindsay River and Paige River. Ten great-grandchildren; Chelsia River (Marvin), Breanna, Saylia, Annalyn, Payton, Marla, Ronnie III, Hadley, Roxie and June and four great-great-grandchildren; Dylan, Kaleigha, Marvin III and Baby Boy River. Betty is also survived by a sister, Lori Maxin and two sister-in-laws; Patty River and Bonnie Ambrose, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Per Betty's wishes, all services were private.
