Barbara J. (Davis) Wilson, 48, of East Liverpool, formerly of Monaca, passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 21, 1961 in East Liverpool, daughter of the late James W. Davis and the late Carolyn Sue (Moore) Davis McQuiston. Barb had been employed by Robert’s Roadside Inn, Bridgewater; and later as a shift manager with Burger King, Monaca. She loved her family and cherished the many friendships she fostered both at work and at Chick’s in Monaca.
Barb is survived by her husband: John M. Wilson, Monaca; three sons and two grandchildren: Eric (Ashley Jones) Wilson, New Brighton and their daughter Mikayla; Robert “Bobby” (Casey Conley) Wilson, Springfield, OH and their son Blake; John M. “J.R.” Wilson, Jr., Monaca; one daughter: Veronica J. Davis, Monaca; a brother and sister-in-law: James and Jackie Davis, Princeton, WV; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Roni “Charlie” (Bob Covert) Lester, East Liverpool; Amanda (Joey) Mitchum of Florida; her mother-in-law: Kathleen Skirchak, and her husband Sam, Beaver Falls; two brothers-in-law: Butch and Toby; two sisters-in-law: Anna and Kitty; many nieces and nephews; her friends at Chick’s; and dear friends Julie Nichol and Cindy Barto.
Friends will be received Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
