Barbara Ann Hill

Barbara Ann Haney Hill, age 80, of Beaver, formerly of New Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Twp. Barbara was born, March 5, 1943, in Rochester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald W. Haney and Betty E. (Jeffers) Haney Stang. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles W. Stang Sr. She retired from US Airways as an executive assistant and was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rochester where she was a lifelong devoted member. Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Rochester High School and served on the reunion committee for years. Barbara adored her family and especially her seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; Charles T. Hill Jr., a brother; Donald L. Haney Sr., stepbrothers; Gilbert and C. Harley Stang, a half brother; Lance P. Haney, a stepsister, Shirley Stang Jurich. She was also the half sister of; Zigford Haney and Richard Haney, and stepsister of Dixie White Garner and Dayle Belkowski.

She is survived by one son; Rev. Dr. Douglas A. (Karrie) Hill of Littleton Colorado, one daughter; Susan Hill Mamone of Beaver; seven grandchildren; Marissa Mamone, Sarah Hill, Chase Mamone, Alexa Mamone, Jeremy Hill, Marco Mamone and Micah Mamone. Also surviving are two half sisters; Dawn Haney Morse and her husband Christopher, Punta Gorda, Florida and Denise Haney Kennedy and her husband Ryan, Ormond Beach, Florida.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 2:00pm until the time of funeral services at 3:00pm at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rochester, PA 15074. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, PA. Arrangements by the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
