Barbara A. Goehring

Born December 23, 1951 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Virginia Lubert. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert G. Goehring.

Barbara was a 1969 graduate of Freedom Area High School. She retired from Walmart in July 2014. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening as well as many other things, but she loved her grandchildren most of all.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Bernadette Roland, daughter-in-law Tammy (Eiler) Goehring; one granddaughter Makayla Goehring and her fiancé Nick Wolfe; one grandson Mitchell Goehring. Also surviving are two sisters Linda Pardee and Bonnie (Lou) Lazzaretti, one brother, Michael (Belinda) Lubert III, two sister-in-laws, Marnietta “Sis” DeGroff and Susan (Stunkard) Goehring; a brother-in-law, Donald (Lynne) Goehring; several nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Virginia (Henry) Lubert; son, Robert Goehring, Jr., father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Ruth (Young) Goehring, brother-in-laws, Bob Pardee, Darwin DeGroff and Gerald Goehring; sister, Susan Lubert.

Family and friends to be received from 3pm-7pm Sunday October 30 at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday October 31 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
