Alice A. Kellner, age 82, of Marion Twp., passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at her residence. Born September 17, 1938, in North Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Whisler) Boswell. Alice attended a one room elementary school in Bennett's Run, and graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1956. She worked at G.C. Murphy's in Beaver Falls before her marriage to Joseph Kellner on December 2, 1967. She was a member of Bennett's Run United Methodist Church her entire life, where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She was also a Girl Scout Leader and a PTA mom. She served on the election board for Marion Township for many years. She most loved to watch her children and grandchildren in their various activities.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years; Joseph Kellner; one daughter; Amy T. Kellner of Marion Twp., two sons; Todd (Amy) Kellner of North Sewickley and Tim (Stephanie) Kellner of Mt. Lebanon. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Catherine, Joseph and Olivia Kellner; one brother, William (Mae) Boswell, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). www.saul-gabauer.com. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:30am at the funeral home, followed by burial at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
