Theodore Sotir, Jr. of Penn Yan died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at age 89. Predeceased by his wife Rosemary Regan; parents, Theodore Sr. and Savastia; and sister, Katherine Roides. He is survived by sons, Mark Sotir, Todd (Mary) Sotir of Penn Yan; 4 grandchildren, Shelby, Morgan, Megan, Melissa; sisters, Helen Pappas, Mary Sarantis; brother, Alex Sotir. Theodore served in the US Army 75th Infantry during WWII and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak. His family would like to thank the Sunset Home in Dundee for their wonderful care the past couple years.
Friends may call Thursday, 4-7pm at ALVAH HALLORAN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 2125 Chili Ave., where Trisagion Prayers will be offered at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11am at Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit, 835 South Ave., Rochester. Interment will be in White Haven Memorial Park.
