He was predeceased by his parents, Carolyn and Donald Clark; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Althea and Franklin Williams; and brother-in-law, Franklin Williams, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Jamie Williams; his cherished children, Sydney and Henry Clark; sister, Michelle (Ron) Rothenberger; nieces, Melanie and Jordan; nephews, Jeffrey and Isaiah; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Scott was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Liverpool, NY, graduating from Liverpool High School, and then the Rochester Institute of Technology. Scott enjoyed a career in IT equipment sales, most recently at Meridian IT Inc. He was very dedicated to his company and his clients. Scott was a great salesman and loved interacting with others. He truly understood the art of conversation. He never met a stranger and could talk with anybody and everybody.
In 2003, Scott used his skills as a salesman and persuaded the love of his life, Jamie, to marry him. Together they would eventually settle in Rochester, NY and have two beautiful children, who were truly his world.
Scott had a great love for the outdoors and being out on the water. He enjoyed boating, spending time in the Adirondacks, and traveling. One of his favorite pastimes was wine tasting. He also had a penchant for shopping and was always looking for the next great deal. He was an avid sports fan of Syracuse University basketball and football, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Buffalo Bills.
Scott was loved by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours on Thursday, May 16th, from 5-8PM, at the Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at a later date.
