A child of the depression, Rosa learned to be frugal, savvy, resourceful and dedicated to education. Coming from a family of devout Catholics, Rosa was deeply religious and committed to her faith. These values were translated to the home environment she created with her husband DeWain, when raising their own family.
As an avid reader, Rosa loved to explore the world, stay well informed of current events and engage in daily prayer. Education, including that of her children, was a priority. Travel and new learning brought Rosa great joy! Rosa was a devoted sister, wife, mother, member of the church and her community. She will be fondly remembered for her grit, determination, moral values, sense of humor, care for others and kind heart. She will be fondly remembered by all who lived and worked with her in her final years, as she was known as “Sweet Little Rosa”!
She was preceded in death by her husband, DeWain F. Feller; as well as her parents, Oliver and Mary Hudon; brother, Carl Hudon and sister, Madeline Engelman.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Hudon (Sr. Mary Oliver, SSND) and her children, Phillip Feller (Karen), Margaret Lane (John Randolph) , DeWain Feller (Amy) , Ann Fields (Douglas) and Mary Feller; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
