Rochester: Peacefully passed away on March 6, 2015 at age 92.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph T. Schwellensattl. Survived by her son, Thomas J. Schwellensattl, of Chili; brother, David I. (Dorothy) Reynolds, of Evans Mills, NY; sister, Doris Putman, of Richville, NY; sister, Laura Lenahan, of Gouverneur, NY; brother, Ford J. (Sarah) Reynolds, of Richville, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Louise was born on June 7, 1922 in Richville, NY, to James A. and Emeline (Johnson) Reynolds. She graduated from Richville High School in 1939. She attended Plattsburg State Teachers College and Canton ATC. She was employed prior to her marriage at Fort Drum, where she met her future husband, Joseph. They were married on June 5, 1948. She later worked with the Signal Corps in Virginia and also at the Willard Hotel, in Washington, D.C. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but also worked for a number of years with her husband in the family business, Westside Glass & Mirror. In her later years she enjoyed volunteering at the Chili Public Library, which she would go on to do for 25 years. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Chili and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking and reading.
A graveside burial service will be held in the spring, in Maple Grove Cemetery, in Richville, NY
