Joseph A. Nemeth

Joe was born in Loraine, Ohio on July 31, 1940, and moved with his family to Southern California when he was twelve years old. Joe attended Westchester High School where he was a member of the basketball team.

In 1972, he met the love of his life, Seane and they married on April 20, 1975, and had one daughter, April. They lived in El Segundo, CA for thirty-five years. Joe enjoyed spending time with friends and family, volunteering for the VFW in Hawthorne, California, and rooting for his favorite California teams, the Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, USC, and UCLA. Joe retired from United Airlines in 2003.

In 2010, Joe and Seane relocated to Rochester, New York, where Joe enjoyed road trips to Niagara Falls, the Finger Lake region, and Canada. He loved working in the yard, barbecuing, hanging out in the garage, always waving to the neighbors, and having many great conversations with long time neighbor and family friend, Frank Ceraci.

Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Seane Nemeth, daughters April Nemeth and Mindy Michelson, son, Curtis Nemeth, son in law, Doug Michelson, daughter in law, Deborah Nemeth, former wife Carol Fields, and lifelong friends, Terry and Sue Carlson. He is preceded in death by his son, Craig Nemeth.

Joe, you will be missed, but forever in our hearts. We will see you down the road.
