John "Jack" F. Lynch

Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gertrude “Trudy” Lynch; his parents, Alice and James Lynch; and brothers, Thomas Lynch and James “Pat” (Arloa) Lynch.

He is survived by his loving children, John (Stephanie Snow) Lynch, Jr. and Maureen Stevens; grandchildren, Aaron and Ryan Stevens; sisters-in-law, Diane “Dee” Lynch, Thelma Neary-Lockner, Madeline Resch, Carol Gurgel, and Lorraine Resch; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jack was a longtime employee of Eastman Kodak. He was an avid hunter. He also had a passion for aviation and was an experienced pilot. He was a devout Catholic and longtime active parishioner of St. Helen’s Church in Gates.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, June 10th, from 3-6pm at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, June 11th, at the Church of the Transfiguration, 50 W. Bloomfield Rd., Pittsford, NY 14534. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack’s memory to the Sisters of St. Joseph, SSJ Office of Mission Advancement, 150 French Rd., Rochester, NY 14618 or to Lifespan 1900 S. Clinton Ave. Rochester, NY 14618.
