He was predeceased by his son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Marie Haberger.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Lorraine Haberger; his daughter, Susan (Randy) Clymo and their children: Kevin Clymo and Katie Wilbert; his daughter, Patty (Rocky) Ellsworth and their children: Patrick, Kristy, and Andy Ellsworth; his son, Joe (Robin) Haberger, and their children: Heather (who was like a daughter to her grandparents) and Joey Haberger, Mandy Tilley, and Erica Veatch; and his late son Dick’s children: Rick, Jenny, Brian, Jay, Krystal, John, Laurie, and Dick Haberger, as well as 21 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter; sister, Marilyn Bailey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John proudly retired from Eastman Kodak after a 33 year career as a Chemical Tech. He would then found Haberger Farms in Hilton with his two sons. He was an avid sports fan, especially of Notre Dame, Syracuse University, and the Buffalo Bills.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, Feb. 12th, from 2:30-3:30PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
