Jennifer G. Dinse, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2020 at the young age of 45, leaving behind her beloved daughter Chloe Dinse-Johnson, predeceased by her wife Angela Mika Johnson and her paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Judy and Jerry Dinse, of West Valley, NY, her sisters Janis (Nick) Hammond of Springville, NY, and Joellen (Kyle) Stender of Collins, NY, along with her brother Steven (Jorge Quiles) Parker of Fort Lauderdale, FL in addition to many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jennifer was a wonderful aunt to her nephews and is survived by Tyler and Trevor Hammond of Springville, NY, William and Johnathan Stender of Collins, NY, and Nicholas Parker of Pekin, IL and Zachary (Monica) Parker of Coral Springs, FL. Jennifer often loved to buy her nephews the toys "only an aunt would love" and her memory will stay alive by sharing stories with them often.
Jennifer was a graduate from Holland High School and she attended Genesee Community College. She used to love participating in sled dog racing with her parents, riding horses, playing softball and participating in cross country skiing when she was younger. Jennifer worked as a laboratory technician at Strong Memorial for many years. She was an active member of her parish, Third Presbyterian Church where she was an elder and was very active in the AA community. Jennifer was a very kind and gentle soul who was often looked at as the 'second mother' to many and there are very fond memories of sharing time camping, going to family parties, attending parades, participating in advocacy efforts and celebrating life in general. She also had a passion and love for all animals. Most importantly, she was a dedicated mother and her daughter will grow to learn about the woman Jennifer was and share in the memories of her life.
Jennifer was an advocate for organ donation as well and we know her contributions are going to make a difference to others in her passing, as she made a difference during her lifetime.
A Memorial service at the Third Presbyterian Church located at 4 Meigs Street, Rochester, NY 14607 will be held at a later date once restrictions allow. Please check back to this website for additional information.
