Born in London England, during World War II Brenda was sent to the coast where children and youth stayed with families where they would be safe and away from the frequent bombings in London. It was here that Brenda eventually met her beloved husband Kenneth Covill. After the War, the Covill’s had two children (Jenny and Lawrence) and emigrated to Canada and later to the United States.
The family will forever be thankful to the Salvation Army which helped so much when Ken was badly injured, as the victim of a hit and run accident shortly after he arrived in Syracuse, NY. Brenda did so many things in her life. From a professional perspective Brenda was the Vice President of Finance for Dawnbreaker, for over 25 years and previously was owner of London Pride Greenhouse in North Chili. Brenda was artistic and in her spare time created beautiful pieces of quilling, cross stitch, floral arrangements and stained glass. She also enjoyed the company of numerous cats and dogs who were important in the family.
Brenda was predeceased by her son Lawrence and her husband Kenneth, and is survived by her daughter Jenny and her husband John; their two sons – John Kenneth and his wife Jonna and two grandchildren, Vivienne and John Wyatt Servo AND Robert James Servo and his wife Shannon and the families’ newest addition – Jude. These family treasures have brought so much joy to Brenda.
Donations can be made to the Salvation Army in your location in Brenda's memory. Thank-you
