He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Pauline Rieke, and brothers, Thomas and Richard Rieke.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine “Kitty” Rieke; sister, Ethel [Rieke] Freitas, his children, Douglas Rieke, Karen Krug, Michael Rieke, and Barbara Rieke, as well as several grandchildren.
Al owned and operated Ricky’s Garage in Rochester for over 30 years. He was an old car enthusiast and loved John Deere tractors.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, July 1st, from 5-7PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., Gates. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 2nd, at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be, made in his name to the American Diabetes Association.
