Albert Forbes was born January 26, 1936 by Patience Hall and Edgar Forbes in Bambarra, Middle Caicos part of Turks and Caicos islands, he enjoyed fishing, sailing and diving for conch. Later in life, around the age of 18, Albert left the island searching for work in Jacksonville, Florida, were here met Thelma Forbes on an Orange grove, picking oranges. There they grew fond of each other and later settled and married on January 24, 1960 in Orange County Florida. Together they had five children that resided in Rochester, N.Y.
Albert supported and provided for his children and his siblings in Turks and Caicos by sending money and even bringing them here in America, were today some has resided and made it their home. Albert had many Jobs, including working as a Laborer/Contractor for the City of Rochester. He began his career building up Rochester, N.Y. into what it is today from the Skyscraper buildings downtown to the Highways of 390,490, and so forth. Later in his years he acquired many real-estate properties. Albert enjoyed playing monopoly buying up lots of properties in Rochester to renovate them and used them for rental properties. Albert constantly built up his portfolio and purchased store front buildings and a Grocery store that was called M&A grocery store, where he had his family members worked and learned the business. Later down the years he sold the store and continued his interest in his real-estate properties. When he couldn’t use his hands any more due to arthritis he decided to retire and pass the properties over to his children to take over.
Albert was a warm compassionate person with a stern voice that made you get moving and get what was needed to be done, done. Albert later settled in a church name Full Gospel Tabernacle Church were today the pastor is Ernest JR Walker. Here he studied the bible and became closer with God and his Journey to Gospel music, his favorite gospel Music Or Hymn is "Peace be still".
A visitation for Albert will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave, Rochester, New York 14624, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
He is predeceased by his parents, Patience Hall and Edgar Forbes.
Siblings: Predeceased by Emmanuel Hall, John Hall, Wealthy Forbes, Lewis Forbes, Ernest Forbes and survived by Maglyn Hamilton.

Great-grandchildren: Jeremy Forbes, Yahighnesty Johnson, Emmanuel Onyeka Jr., Gianna Forbes-Baffa, Esther Onyeka, Micah Onyeka.
