Zachary T. Young, age 22, of Rochester Hills, November 22, 2017; beloved son of Jackie (Fred) Salo and Chris (Michele) Young; cherished brother of Ben Young; grandson of Dr. Daniel (Donna) White and Joan Binkowski; also survived by a dozen aunts and uncles and even more cousins, whom all loved Zachary dearly. Zachary touched many lives through his life. He had an infectious smile that could be seen for miles, a laugh you could recognize in a crowd and enough love in his heart for all people. Zach loved deeply, fought fiercely and always stood for his beliefs. Family was everything; he admired the strength of his brother, had great compassion for his grandma and always wanted to make his parents proud. He always looked forward to seeing his aunts, uncles and cousins. His friends he gave his loyalty to had a connection/special bond that couldn’t be broken, even after the trials & loss, he loved them all. Zach was “the light in a dark room” and “could go into an empty forest and come out with a friend”. He was truly blessed with loving people and reaching out to them. Zach was a great example of what God wants us to be; love everyone, judge no one and help one another.
Our hearts are broken and Zach will be missed beyond words. But our Faith and our Lord will help us through. May our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend passing, bring Faith, Love and Strength to us all.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Families Against Narcotics would be appreciated.
