William (Bill) Stanley Woodhull, 64, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away January 3, 2021. He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 3, 1956, to Wayne and Beverly Woodhull. As a child, he was fascinated with all things mechanical, and loved helping his dad as they worked on projects around the house. Shortly before age 21, he married the love of his life, Cynthia K. Woodhull, on September 24, 1977. Bill always made use of his mechanical inclination throughout his career, and eventually joined Daniel Electric, where he spent more than 3 decades owning and operating the business. Creating jobs gave him great joy, and he treasured the many lifelong friendships created both among his work family as well as his partners outside the company. While he appreciated his work, he also made significant time for his family, friends and hobbies. Bill again made use of his mechanical inclination by helping friends and family solve their mechanical and electrical problems; this was probably his favorite hobby. When not helping, he could be found playing with one of his dogs, or on a boat, smiling and laughing with family and friends. He loved spending time in Florida, with Cindy, escaping the cold Michigan winters. Together, he and Cindy enjoyed traveling and experiencing different continents and cultures. Family trips were his favorite, and God blessed him with many of those. His favorite solo hobby was flying, and looked for opportunities to get out to Pontiac Airport for a quick flight when he got the chance. He would also golf and scuba dive, always with family and friends. Bill made sure to live a full, meaningful life, knowing that every day is a gift and the next one isn’t guaranteed. Through Faith, he has received God’s saving grace, and now rests in Heaven.
Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Cynthia Kaye Woodhull, three sons Bradley John (Carley) Woodhull, Adam Wayne (Lauren) Woodhull, and David William (Jessica Latowski) Woodhull; grandchildren Avery Claire Woodhull and Graham Steven Woodhull; brothers Robert Wayne (Cathy) Woodhull and John Wesley (Marilyn) Woodhull; father Wayne Wesley Woodhull; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Jean Woodhull, his son Christopher William Woodhull and his sister Susan Kay Busha.
