Timothy Patrick Webber, age 42, of Shelby Twp., died suddenly Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Tim was born on September 7, 1980 in Santa Monica, California. He graduated from Rochester Adams High School and had studied music theatre at Oakland University.
Tim was a larger than life personality who loved all things that involved music and theatre. He was widely known for his band, The Killer Flamingos, where he was drummer and back-up vocalist. He owned the Tim Webber Presents booking agency that booked local bands. Tim was the former drummer & tour manager for Chubby Checker, PBM, and had played on the TV show America’s Got Talent. He also loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with his family and many, many friends. He will be greatly missed.
Tim is survived by his parents Nancy & Robert Webber, his two brothers Mike (Julia) Webber and Matt Webber. He is the proud godfather and uncle to Mike’s son, James Webber, and he is the beloved nephew of Gail Bilitzke, Pat (Anna) Browe, Mike (Suzanne) Browe and Becky Browe. Tim is also survived by his Killer Flamingo bandmates: Darren, Todd, Dave and Alyssa, as well as numerous friends across the country.
A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
