Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 7, 1934. He is the son of the late George and Naomi Hallman. He attended school in Detroit, and later served in the US Air Force.
Richard and Sabastiana were married on June 11, 1955 at Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church in Detroit. Together they raised their family in East Detroit.
Richard worked at Chrysler as a toolmaker for over 30 years. Along with his family, he operated a Christmas tree farm in Kalkaska, Michigan. Richard was an honorary member of the Conca D’Oro and MaDonna di Custonaci Club. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Sebastiana; children Gina (spouse Mario) Angelo, George (spouse Nicole) Hallman; the late Joseph Hallman (survived by his wife Ilze); Grandchildren; Bryan, Veronica, Abbie, Jackson and Olivia; Great-grandchildren David and Denise; along with his nieces. Also survived by his sister Catherine Shrimplin who resides in Texas.
Private family services will be held.
